My biological wine tour

Come experience the new challenge of modern times – “feeling” organic, in harmony with nature, and respecting it. “Behaving” organic is a recent phenomenon, still evolving and more respectful of a nature that has too often been stimulated by technique. What you need is a return to the roots, the tastes of the past, traditional values and forgotten species that you will rediscover at a measured pace.

Oenological getaway in the Pessac-LĂ©ognan

This young appellation (1983) is deeply linked to the history of winemaking. White and red wines are planted on a 1700-hectare gravelly soil, South and West of Bordeaux. They make this appellation a quality reference for Haut Brion, a Cru Classé in 1855, as well as for its 80 châteaux. The very consistent, well-structured soil gives elegance and character to this typical wine.

A golden weekend

The Gold of Bordeaux is located 30 km further South, in a lush, hilly landscape. Yqem is its flagship château: its limey, gravelly soil, various vintages (sauvignon, sémillon and muscadelle), atypical harvest as well as its unique climate turn this noble rot (botrytis cinerea) into a real gem for the palate, a glass of sunlight to be enjoyed with all our senses.

A getaway in the heart of the vine

From Langon to the South of La Brède, a couple kilometers from Bordeaux, the Graves region drew its roots in the ancient times to develop it’s wine-making know how. From popes to our most illustrious lawyers and philosophers, all have tasted this quality of terroir (clay gravelly or sand gravelly in the south) for a balanced wine, wise and well made.
